How long do i wait to receive an item I won?

I won a BIN item almost 2 weeks ago. I paid immediately via paypal and the seller states that he will ship within 2 business days. I've tried 3 times to contact by email with no answer. How long do i wait before trying to get my money back and filing a buyer protection case?|||I'm kinda wondering the same thing. I purchased something that was $200 and have not received an email from the person at all. I've sent an email to them but how long does a person wait?|||Wait at least three weeks. Some sellers are not quick at responding to emails, some are not online all the time. There is always the possibility that they are not getting your messages. If packages are shipped by parcel post, they can take as much as a month to arrive. You each have 45 days from the date of payment to file a claim of Item Not Received (INR), which will get you your money back. Don't let the deadline pass you by or you will not get a refund. Do keep trying to reach the seller. You can get your seller's contact information from eBay and get a phone number to call if you want to. Sometimes it is on the order details page, sometimes not. Also, be sure to check that page to see if a Delivery Confirmation number (for the post office) or a tracking number for UPS/Fedex has been posted. If the seller printed a label through Paypal, the number will be on the page. If they did not use Paypal, it probably won't be there, but that doesn't mean they didn't send the package. If you must make a claim, you can use either eBay or paypal, but NOT both. If you do both, eBay considers you as trying to get a double refund and will cancel both claims, leaving youw ith nothing. We recommend going through Paypal, they are way more efficient then eBay.|||In order to answer your question , we need to look at the auction listing, know how the item shipped (method stated in listing) and how you paid. Are you counting weekends in that 2 week figure? You only count business days not weekends. Was the payment an echeck ? All of the above matters. In addition very often buyers and sellers email messages do not go thru. Did you check your spam folder to make certain the seller did not reply and the message is sitting in your spam folder? Sellers are not obligated to communicate well or when you purchase. Of course it is best if they do, but not all do.|||jbuttler777 - you bought a book that was supposed to be sent Priority Mail. You should continue to try to reach the seller as you should have received it by now. On yours, if it doesn't arrive by Monday and you haven't heard from the seller, file your claim.|||If after 14+ days from cleared payment you still have not received the item you can request seller's contact info (phone here) and give them a quick call. Link If the seller can't tell you the exact date it shipped and the delivery confirmation number, then just go ahead and file the INR (item not received) with Paypal. Hold off on any feedback, until after you see how the transaction ends, either with receipt of the item as described or a refund from Paypal. You have 45 days from the date of payment to file for a refund. 60 days from end of auction to leave feedback.|||The listing states it will be shipped flat rate w/in 2 days of receiving cleared payment. I paid via Amex on Paypal so that was immediate payment. It has been 8 business days. My messages were sent both by ebay and the seller's individual email. There are no return messages on my ebay messages or my mailbox, spam and otherwise. I guess I've been lucky up until now - I've always received items within time frame seller lists or at least have had communication if they can't ship for some reason.|||flat rate is not a mail class so it may be going by the slower parcel post since it is more economicalIt may not be your fault but it is your responsibility Silver rule "do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you"
