Buyer increased shipping on invoice

Yesterday I purchased a Magic 8 Ball from a seller who has consistently charged excessive shipping amounts (as much as $20.00 for first class mail for an eight ball that should ship for $5-$7). I've been watching his listings for month, waiting for him to charge a more reasonable fee. Even reported him a few time. He finally dropped his shipping down to $9.01 and I bid and won the auction. He then sent me an invoice with a s&h charge of $15.01 No, I have no intention of paying it. My question for y'all is: Is there any way for me to forward this invoice directly to eBay? There is no 'Report' link on the invoice.|||itswicked..., If they sent the invoice through ebay messages, ebay can get the info they need directly. If it was sent directly through email, you can copy and paste the header info, to ebay. On your email page highlight the email, then go to the file tab on the page, click and go to properties, click on that and then click on the details tab. You can copy and paste that info, so ebay can compare the ISP # against the sellers acct.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I did not sell you my opinion|||Why would you buy from a seller such as this? There are quite a few results for "magic eight ball" on eBay. Why not find a seller who had reasonable shipping prices? And frankly, buying from someone you reported previously might be considered Malicious Bidding. I'd be very very careful about that in the future.|||Wow, and as I look at your account, I see you buy and sell the exact same types of things. A huge no-no, and all the more reason for the seller to consider you a competitor who is engaging in Malicious Bidding. If I were he, I'd be reporting you to eBay if you leave anything other than positive feedback with five stars in all categories. And thanks for posting, you've gone straight to my Blocked Bidder List.|||First we need to see the auction . What is the number? Next did you email the seller and ask WHY the difference? I would do this first.|||"No, I have no intention of paying it. " Contact your seller before they file the UID (unpaid item dispute) and find out why the invoice amount is different. You can pull your seller's contact info here and give them a quick call. " What does the auction state for S&H? It does not matter "what you think it should ship for" it matters what is stated in the auction or an email quote from the seller. If the auction did not state S&H clearly to your location , then a quick "can I have a firm quote to postal zip" should be done ,prior to bidding. It sounds like you are bidding to compete or create trouble for the seller. It is simple , if you don't agree with the stated S&H, then just don't bid.|||Sounds like there is more to this story|||Found auction infrequent low feedback seller. It may be an honest error on the invoice. You need to contact the seller , ask for a corrected invoice , before doing anything! You are only required to pay the $9.01 stated in the auction . Did you try to change the invoice to the correct amount? If not , I would do so now, if possible and pay the correct amount in addition to contacting the seller.|||You can also send the seller the Selling Practices link here Link New infrequent seller may not know they can not charge separate for insurance, delivery confirmation etc.|||Thanks to those who tried to help. Yes I've contacted the seller. No he has not responded. The seller has a history of overcharging S&H. He only dropped to a reasonable price after being reported to eBay. He then switched it back to original on the invoice. I have NO doubt he knows exactly what he's doing.||||||||||||Just received a second invoice from Seller. Now the S&H price is $12.01, as opposed to the $15.01 on the first invoice and the $9.01 on the auction listing. Any advice on how I can pay the advertised costs would be greatly appreciated.
